In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I've been in bands ever since I can remember. I wasn’t comfortable being in the spotlight, so I was content to fill background roles in other bands. But I had songs of my own, and eventually I faced my fear of sharing my own music with others. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Radiohead, OK Computer The Clash, Combat Rock Remastered Wilco, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot These albums were formative for my music journey. From listening to a Clash cassette, to Radiohead on a CD, and then experiencing Wilco for the first time on a purely digital medium, these albums will always have a special place in my heart. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Only Cry When I'm Alone” I love the space in this song, and how it creates an emotional vibe that matches the lyrics. It's hard to make sense of the world experienced through social media, and this was me working through that. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first band I ever put together, we played to 10,000 people- I was so nervous wasn't sure I could pull it off. But the show went great, and gave me courage to keep playing. Since then, I've gotten to play across the country, and even over seas. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As long as I'm making music with people I love, getting to visit new places and keep creating, I'm happy. But, I'd really love to play at Red Rocks.
