Alexander Ullman

About Alexander Ullman

Pianist Alexander Ullman is establishing himself as a star on the international scene, boasting top-notch tuition and an impeccable record of major prize competition wins. In 2019, Ullman released his debut album. Diverging sharply from the safe repertory chosen by most pianists for their first recordings, he programmed a variety of piano transcriptions of major Russian ballets. Ullman returned for his second album as a soloist in 2022, performing Liszt's Piano Sonata and Piano Concertos Nos. 1 and 2, with Andrew Litton conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra. That year, Ullman also accompanied flutists Noémi Győri and Gergely Madaras on an album of music for two flutes and piano by Franz Doppler and Friedrich Kuhlau.
