Luigi "Gino" De Crescenzo, who goes by the moniker Pacifico, first made a name for himself as the composer and guitarist of Rossomaltese. He launched his solo career in 2001 with a self-titled and critically acclaimed debut album before going onto release a flurry of studio efforts. His work puts piano-driven ballads comfortably next to light guitar work, always led by his clear, soaring vocals. Both a singer-songwriter and composer, and with big-name collaborations under his belt—including Andrea Bocelli—Pacifico is a fierce favourite on the Italian music scene.
