Drummer Jerry Roe—son of country music icon Jerry Reed—has a style that can swing and lay back while still feeling propulsive. “It's a combination of my country and roots music lineage and growing up a metalhead in the ‘90s,” Roe explains to Apple Music. His ability to hammer the skins or craft a gentle, nuanced rhythm with the same care has made Roe a favourite for acts as varied as Luke Combs, Lee Ann Womack and Molly Tuttle.
