About The Deepshakerz
This productive, late-2000s-formed, Afrobeats-inspired Italian house duo comprise the DJs/producers Mirco Sonatore and Domy Berardino. While Berardino's passion lies in composing groove-based material as evinced on his early work as 3Balitz, Sonatore has a gift for innovation and melody: a useful dynamic for a creative partnership in the tech-house sphere. Their debut single, "Over the Ride," was released in 2008, before 2012 brought "Maracana," a prestigious Roter & Lewis collaboration. In 2014, they launched their own label, Safe Music, ultimately using it to issue their debut album, Sensations, in 2016. They also became part of the Defected roster, releasing a slew of EPs for the U.K. label. 2021 brought Radio Cuts, Vol.1, a compilation of edits of their strongest homegrown material on Safe Music, as well as two singles featuring the vocals of Happy Mondays' Rowetta.
