Les Clochards

About Les Clochards

Les Clochards' sleek, eclectic, accordion-laced pop tunes draw from a wide number of influences that include, but aren't limited to, Gene Vincent, Billy Fury, and French chanson (Jacques Brel is a good touchstone here). Frontman Ian Nixon and accordionist Karen Cleave formed Les Clochards in England in 2005; drummer Gary Neville, vocalist Corinne Mateo, guitarist Peter Momtchiloff, and bassist Dean Ryan were brought on board to round out the group's sound soon after. The group's debut full-length, Sweet Tableaux, was released on Big Red Sky Records in 2009. ~ TiVo Staff
