About Zahriya Zachary

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I learned how to play piano by ear when I was 6, and the first song I learned was Chopsticks. Then when I was about 8 or 9, I sang Happy Birthday in front of people for the first time for my Grandma's 70th birthday! Amanda Cook, State of the Union Jon Bellion, Glory Sound Prep London Grammar, Truth Is a Beautiful Thing I love these albums for the sounds, the lyrics, and the honesty they carry. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Back To Life (Live)” This was the first song I did as a part of Bethel. It was Jonathan Helser, Paul McClure, and I, and it was incredible. Also, the Come Up Here recording was very special. It felt like we were coming back to who we are as a collective. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh, 100%! I want to put out my own album/project - which I'm currently working on! Then, go out on tour and sing those songs with people. Also, writing with some of my absolute heroes of writing. People like Julia Michaels, Yebba, and Alicia Keys...
