Parisian songwriter Aldebert makes whimsical folk-pop for kids and adults alike, borrowing from multiple musical styles in his quirky salutes to childhood. The more the merrier is his attitude towards collaboration: fellow French star Alizée adds a dose of sweetness to “Mon petit doigt m’a dit”, while Grand Corps Malade speaks up for animals trapped in small spaces on the acoustic guitar-graced “Joli Zoo”. It's the track "Super Mamie" which finds Aldebert at his most playful, however: a poppy ode to a grandmother with tattoos and talent for computer games that touches and enchants.
