About Sachin-Jigar

Sachin-Jigar is an Indian duo who compose music for films primarily in the Hindi and Gujarati languages. ∙ Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya first worked together as arrangers for such noted Bollywood music directors as Pritam and A. R. Rahman, before becoming independent composers in 2009. ∙ They debuted as music directors on the 2011 comedy F.A.L.T.U, which produced the hits “Le Jaa Tu Mujhe” and “Char Baj Gaye (Lekin Party Abhi Baaki Hai).” ∙ Sachin-Jigar’s 2013 soundtrack for the 3D drama ABCD - Any Body Can Dance was praised for its style, which blended traditional elements with modern urban sounds. ∙ Sung by playback star Atif Aslam, “Jeena Jeena”—from the duo’s Mirchi Music Award-nominated soundtrack for the 2015 action film Badlapur—topped the Indian iTunes charts. ∙ Their soundtrack for the 2016 thriller Wrong Side Raju, featuring the hit “Gori Radha Ne Kado Kaan,” received a Gujarati Iconic Film Award nomination for Best Music Album. ∙ In 2017, their song “Hoor,” from the comedy-drama Hindi Medium, earned the duo a Mirchi Music Awards nomination for Music Composer of the Year.
