Armed with just a keyboard and honeyed voice, Violette Wautier crafts an achingly beautiful Apple Music Home Session that throws the spotlight onto two bittersweet stories. “‘I’d Do It Again’ is a song that is close to my heart and I wanted to do it a little different than the original version this time,” she says about the lovelorn synth-pop ballad from her debut LP Glitter and Smoke, which unfolds here at a slower pace. It sits alongside an ethereal cover of keshi’s “Drunk”. “It honestly was just so fun to put my own spin to the song,” she says, adding, “Hopefully it’ll bring you closer to me.”
