Klein Orkest Essentials

Klein Orkest, or the Small Orchestra in English, came together in the late '70s in the Netherlands. The group was together for less than a decade, but they managed to leave an indelible mark on their country's music scene. Led by singer and songwriter Harrie Jekkers, Klein Orkest created rock that today sounds like '80s Europe nostalgia—synth pads, mellow rock beats and shiny production, all on full display in their ode to Berlin “Over de Muur”. The band would later shift focus to release a children's album in 1985—this list collects the biggest cuts from both sides of their career.
