About Willbe

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first contact with music was seeing the early music videos that aired before 1980 that were musically excellent and equally visually impactful. In the '90s, FM radio stations opened me to many new styles of music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered Radiohead, Kid A The Roots, Do You Want More?!!!??! "The Dark Side of the Moon" was inventive and out of this world. "Kid A" showed there were no boundaries for a rock band. "Do you want more" proved hip hop was universal. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Coral Pillows” This is my latest release. It showcases everything I love in making music: sampling, grooves, and a somehow holiday feel. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Inside the Demoscene subculture, I won the Scene.org Award for Best Soundtrack in 2004 with my track "We Compute Each Other", which was used in Cocoon's PC demo "Coma on the Dancefloor" the same year. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As of today, I mainly help the bands in which I play drums. I'm keen on composing tunes for myself again and, ideally, touring with the new material anywhere I can.
