Glasstown

About Glasstown

The alternative pop/rock duo Glasstown consists of singer Adam Klein and keyboardist Michael Mullen. In addition to their band duties, both members are also authors (Klein wrote The Medicine Burns and Mullen wrote Jerome: After the Pageant). The band came together in 1998 in San Francisco and quickly began playing shows, opening local shows for such renowned acts as Creeper Lagoon and Grandaddy. The duo recruited extra members Jim Sweeney (guitar), Alex Laipenieks (drums), and Glen Swarts (French horn), and signed to the independent Bitter Stag Records label and issuing their debut, Living and Forgetting, in 2001. ~ Greg Prato
