Born Park Jun-won in Seoul, pH-1 rose to prominence with 2018’s “Hate You”, bringing his easy-going and breezy rapping to snappy, skittering beats. This sonic approach characterises his subsequent work, both solo and in collaboration with acts like Yerin Baek (“Nerdy Love”), Ramengvrl (“Ain’t NO MF”) and mentor Jay Park (“Donut”).
