When the Deltones steel orchestra first formed in 1963 in the small village of Siparia, by founders Ellis Knights and Terry Wallace. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chesterton, Lord Kitchener Miles Davis, Kind of Blue (Legacy Edition) These albums are an incredible representation of black music and the diversity and innovation of the African diaspora. Two greats in African and Caribbean music join forces with the Siparia Deltones to create an amalgamation of people, experiences and culture. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording and producing 'Siparia to Soweto' with the legendary South African icon, Hugh Masekela. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The list is far too long to write here. But, we can tell you one thing - we intend on winning a Grammy Award and taking steel pan to all corners of the globe!
