The Body Coach became a UK national hero during the pandemic with his online PE With Joe sessions, raising spirits and bringing people together even when everyone was confined to their homes. Since then, he’s continued to inspire us to get moving, championing the benefits of a good workout for both your physical and mental health. But what inspires the man himself? Music plays a key role—as is evident from his handpicked tracks here. “Music is a huge part of my life and always has been,” he tells Apple Music. “Growing up, there was always music playing in my house and today, whether it’s in the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner for the family, or smashing a home workout, there is always some kind of music playing. As you’ll see from my selection of tracks, I have a broad taste in music and what I listen to on any given day changes depending on how I feel.
