Raghu Dixit was a microbiologist and Indian classical dancer before turning to singing and composing music. Renowned as the frontman for the Raghu Dixit Project, a multilingual folk group, he enjoys a loyal following. Singing in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and English, Dixit excels in live performance, strumming on his guitar while tapping out the beat with his bare feet. A festival favourite, he is also one of a few Indian artists to have performed at Glastonbury.
