About Gorgon City
Alongside contemporaries Disclosure and Duke Dumont, the North London duo Gorgon City helped usher in the UK garage revival of the 2010s. • Before coming together, members Foamo and RackNRuin were buzzworthy solo artists who’d remixed songs for Diplo and Nas, respectively. • Gorgon City debuted with 2012’s The Crypt EP, but it was 2013’s Real that brought chart success. The title track went Top 10 on the UK dance chart. • Their 2014 debut album, Sirens, perfected the group’s carefree club sound. Vocals are key to each track, and featured singers include Katy B and Jennifer Hudson. The LP spawned six singles, including the platinum hit “Ready For Love”, featuring MNEK. • Gorgon City returned with their sophomore LP, Escape, in 2018 and City topped Billboard’s Dance Club Songs with two 2019 singles: “Go Slow”, a collaboration with Kaskade and Roméo, and “There for You”, with MK.
