Rewat “Ter” Buddhinan had a vision and the determination to achieve it. Prior to his arrival on the scene, Thai music had been arguably lacklustre—he saw an opportunity to change that. After a hard fought battle, his efforts resulted in the creation of GMM Grammy, now the largest media conglomerate in Thailand. Rewat's early releases with The Impossibles defied genre definition, moving from rock and pop to funk and psychedelia with ease. Later, his behind-the-scenes work with Thai musicians continued to mould the scene's future.
