Blue Mitchell, The Genius of Blue Mitchell Blue Mitchell embodies the trumpet sound and lyricism that really resonates with me. I am often told I sound kind of like him! Tell us why you chose this song. “Kissed by the Sun” This is the title track off of one of my favorite albums I have recorded. Co written and co produced with the iconic Jeff Lorber. I really love the long delays and and it turned out to be my highest ranking track with over one million streams!
