During the folk revival, the imposing Delta legend tackled a foot-stomping rendition of the hymn “I Shall Not Be Moved” and displayed his fiery picking on “This Little Light of Mine.” But his gospel roots come out the most during the spirit-moving “John the Revelator,” with just his booming voice and clapping hands.
