Dudu Tassa crafts music at a cultural crossroads, where ringing electric guitars and austere alt-rock meet Arabic folk rhythms. His sound is inspired by the incisive Israeli rock of Berry Sakharof and the ruddy, melancholic art rock of Radiohead. Other predecessors include the oud master Omar Bashi and the Iraqi-Jewish folk musician Yair Dalal.
