Although Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku started off as the "little sister" of girl group Momoiro Clover Z, their big, bold power pop tunes demand top billing. The band, called "Ebichu" by their fans, charge their flawless harmonies with heavy synthesiser bass lines and cranked-up rock guitars. Songs like "Go!Go!Here We Go!Rock Lee"—the ending theme of a Naruto spin-off—create an ecstatic, carnival atmosphere with double-bass drums, playground-chant vocals and quick-paced percussion. This is intensely playful pop music that deftly hits peak after joyful peak.
