New Zealand’s Phoebe Rings put a jazzy slant on dream pop that welcomes influences like chamber pop, bossa nova, Studio Ghibli soundtracks, and more. The one-time solo project of Crystal Choi, the band followed their 2024 eponymous EP with a gently affectionate debut album, Aseurai, in 2025.
