About Oakley Hall

Founded by former Oneida frontman Pat Sullivan in the early 2000s, Oakley Hall redirects the aforementioned band's decaying urban psych down the back roads and byways of country and folk. The band strikes a perfect balance between traditionalism and experimentation, blending ragged-glory country-rock and folk styles with just enough of a sense of underground weirdness to keep things from ever getting too straight. After releasing several albums on tiny independent labels, Oakley Hall jumped to the esteemed Merge label for 2007's I'll Follow You.
