Live At Sin-é: Jeff solo = perfection (& "grace") 3. async: A beautiful, dark ambient meditation on impermanence and death, dealing with his own cancer diagnosis. Last year's version was acoustic, and this year I've done a new version in a much heavier-sounding arrangement with drums and electric guitar. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The collaborations: Marc & Sunny Yasuda, Marc & Joe Shotaro (This Dark Shroud, c. 2019), Marc & Takeshi Goda (Lower Than God), Lowe + Tanao (2022 live project), etc. Also, visual collaborations with Akiko Honda, and realizing that music is my life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Simply to continue moving forward until the day that I die. I am inspired by the likes of David Bowie, Ryuichi Sakamoto, all artists who continue or continued to evolve despite illness or other difficulties. Never, ever give in, and never, ever stop.
