In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 13, I attended a summer camp in Texas for 4 weeks where no form of outside media was allowed. At the end of everyday for the entire camp, I'd work on the same 32 bar rap to pass time, and ultimately impress all my friends when I left the camp. We were all invested in the outcome of the song and it just felt like there was a divine presence in the room. That energy can definitely be felt in the song.
