In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Telling my mother I wanted to learn to play the violin when I was two years old. Of course I don't remember. Or the Showa song (Japanese Showa period pop songs) programmes of my childhood. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carla Bley, Charlie Haden, The Ballad of the Fallen Michael Nyman, The Kiss and Other Movements Phill Niblock, Touch Three ecause they are three albums that had a big influence on my current music production, and simply because I still like them. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cavern” This is the first work in the Cells muisc series, which started as a series of seven works, and is memorable for the unique method it developed of recording string orchestral works alone. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A solo live performance in the middle of winter at the Noh theatre of the Misogi Shrine for the filming of an art project film.
