In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is sitting in my stroller when I was around 2 years old, on stage with my mom and her band doing a show near the World Trade Center in NYC. Crazy how so many years later, I'm on stages myself now! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy, Full Moon Janet Jackson, The Velvet Rope Tonéx, O2 These three albums have pretty much shaped my entire musical existence. Brandy is THEE Vocal Bible and her album solidifies this, Tonéx (now B.Slade) is a musical genius not of this world, and Janet liberated my soul and my sexuality with this album. It speaks to that feeling of unsurety that we all have right before getting intimate with someone. We always wanna know if we're doing it right and constantly in our own heads about our performance. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I still haven't processed my very first festival stage performance opening for T-Pain in CT in front of a crowd over 10,000 people! I definitely had an out of body experience that day! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just want to sit in a studio session with Brandy to learn from her. She is still "vocal goals" and to be able to see her process would be a dream!
