About Vicente Jáuregui

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first album I ever own was the soundtrack that Prince wrote for Tim Burton's Batman. I was 10 and totally blew my mind. I was very inspired to make music when I discovered Prince recorded all the instruments in that record. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Depeche Mode, Violator (Deluxe) Bonus Tracks Edition Gustavo Cerati, Bocanada Radiohead, OK Computer Ok Computer, inspired me in a deep level to write melancholic trippy music as a catarsis. Bocanada, showed me how pop can be elegant and artistic. Violator, is the perfect album, all songs are just perfect in their gloomy, yet sexy approach. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. ““Fantasma Astral”” One of the first songs I wrote for this solo project, it delivers a powerful noisy groove that fits perfect with the addiction related lyrics. Fantasma Astral is about how inner vision is powerful to let behind all ghosts from the past. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I found very stimulant that five of my songs have been played in the top rock FM stations in Mexico's City. And of them, even was in the best songs of Reactors 105.7 in 2020. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Make more music as a way to resist and keep going no matter what.
