Oordaya's giddy, intimate alternative R&B songs first appeared on the self-recorded Mind Me EP in 2018. Highlighted by the single "YAYO," the singer and songwriter's first studio EP, Three, followed in 2020. Oordaya then made her major-label debut a year later with the song "Better Days."
