In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I needed to pee. I was 6 years old. We were in a shopping mall and I really, really had to go. I started singing about how I needed to pee because, at that time, I truly believed real life was like a Disney movie. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Britney Spears, Blackout (Deluxe Edition) BLACKOUT: Britney Spears is a god. Blackout has this punk vibe of not giving a shit, and boy, it's amazing what not giving a shit sounds like! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Clingy (feat. Akin Orbay)” I wrote this song about my then-fiancee now-spouse because, due to Covid, I got stuck in Boston and had the amazing opportunity to spend so much time with him. "Clingy" is about loving being around my favorite person 24/7, and knowing that was rare. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A friend and fellow Berklee grad, Akin, and I started collaborating during Covid, resulting in some amazing music, one of which got us signed as songwriters. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Not right now. I enjoy putting out music on my own because I have total creative freedom and don't need to check in with The Man (a.k.a. a label, a manager, etc.).
