Arsen Soghomonyan

About Arsen Soghomonyan

Tenor Arsen Soghomonyan has scored successes at major opera houses in Eastern and Western Europe as well as in his native Western Asia. He is a rare example of a singer who has switched voice types in the early part of his career, having begun as a baritone. Soghomonyan's reputation began to expand beyond Armenia when he joined the ensemble of the Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow. His Italian debut came in Leoncavallo's I Pagliacci at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. His London debut was as Roberto in a concert performance of Puccini's Le Villi, which was recorded and released in 2019. He returned in 2022 as Radu in Leoncavallo's Zingari.
