In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being in my attic one evening. My mum had a very cheap keyboard she used to rely on to release her choir parts. I remember spending countless time on that keyboard, being extremely fascinated by the various sounds it could produce. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Thomas Newman, Various Artists, The Shawshank Redemption Toto, Falling In Between They represent three essential aspects of my music. Love Over Gold contains some incredibly expressive melodic lines. Shawshank Redemption conceives music as color to express feelings and emotions. Falling in Between is a technical masterpiece. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dublin In Your Eyes” I wrote it after being away from Dublin from more in a month, while reflecting on the relationship I developed with the city and how it compares to my feelings for my birthplace. I believe this song manages to capture the welcomeness of Dublin I felt What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I actually have two. I just finished scoring my first TV-series and it's been an incredibly enriching experience, both as musician and as person. The other one is my latest gig with MoonTalk at the Sound House in Dublin, which was simply incredible. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely. I am more hungry than ever, and will keep trying developing my personal style drawing on as many influences, sonorities and cultures as I possibly can. I am looking forward to record MoonTalk's second album, as well as scoring more works.
