Dopo aver preso il posto che fu già di John Rutter e Timothy Brown alla conduzione del rinomato coro a voci miste del Clare College, Graham Ross dirige tre delle opere più interessanti del repertorio contemporaneo: il famoso requiem ispirato ai canti gregoriani di Maurice Duruflé, ‘Song for Athene’ di John Tavener, in cui le musiche liturgiche ortodosse si fondono con le suggestioni dell’Amleto, e ‘They Are at Rest’, composto da Edward Elgar per l’anniversario della morte della regina Vittoria.
