If BADBADNOTGOOD's minimalist, beat-heavy covers of James Blake and Waka Flocka Flame are any indication, these jazz students have studied a lot of non-jazz during their downtime. They gained attention for a stripped-down, woozy take on Gucci Mane's "Lemonade", and you can still hear echoes of its choppy piano throughout their work, as well as the sparse melancholy of Earl Sweatshirt's "Chum" and the boisterous joy of TNGHT's "Bugg'n".
