Attaque 77 Essentials

Formed in Buenos Aires in 1987, Attaque 77 blasted out of the gate with catchy punk rock songs that rallied against political and social issues. Their earliest work was often compared to The Ramones, with fast rhythms and simple, powerful chords. The style catapulted them to local stardom, but their real climb began in the late ‘90s when the band shifted to a more alternative rock style with albums like 1997's Antihumano. Attaque 77 continued to be a force well into the ‘00s, releasing new music and capitalising on their catalogue of stadium-ready hits like “Arrancacorazones” and “Beatle”.
