British-Indian producer and composer Vee has masterminded several Punjabi pop hits. • As a child, Vee and his brother—acclaimed bhangra artist Hunterz—trained in classical vocals with Pakistani artist Ustad Salamat Ali Khan. • Vee made his way to the music scene by working with artists in the UK, Pakistan and India. Among his earliest cuts was a remix alongside Hunterz for Bonafide’s 2015 single, “I Came To Party”. • In 2017, he enjoyed a breakthrough moment when he produced tropical-flavoured electronic pop song “Lahore” for Punjabi singer-lyricist Guru Randhawa. • Vee remains a go-to hitmaker for Randhawa. In 2020, he produced “Surma Surma”—a collaboration with Brit-Indian pop star Jay Sean—and “Baby Girl”.
