Tell us why you chose this song. “Coyote Mask” “Coyote Mask” is one of my favorites on my record. When it came to me, I was lucky to be near a piano with a pen and paper in hand. It has roots and a heartbeat with a soulful pulse while dancing in an ethereal space throughout the song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Bill Kreutzmann, founding drummer of the Grateful Dead, once invited me to jam at a Halloween party at his home in Hawaii. We improvised for 3 hours for about 50 of his closest friends. It was pure magic and a night I will never forget.
