Multi-talented Bronx native Ron Suno leveraged an audience he built with comedy to become a key rapper in New York City’s emerging drill scene. • At the age of five, Suno learned to rhyme from his father, a rapper known as D Suno. • Suno came up freestyling but decided to focus on comedy because people thought he was funny. He cultivated a fanbase through skit-based comedy online. • In 2017, Ron Suno created the #WeaveChallenge on social media. It started with a viral video in which he runs up on strangers like he's going to fight them, then weaves out of the way. It was meant to signify avoiding negativity in life. • Suno had a massive streaming hit with his 2019 single “PINOCCHIO”. His 2020 mixtape SWAG LIKE MIKE includes a remix featuring West Coast rapper Blueface.
