In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I've been loving and writing music since I was a child. I can remember sitting on my porch writing songs and coming up with melodies while forcing my friends to sing the harmonies. I would get blank cassette tapes and record myself. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, DAMN. Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Mali Music, Mali Is... Each of these albums represents a level of awareness not just of self but of the spirit. I can listen to each of these albums front to back with no skips. Each one inspires me and gives me courage to be my authentic self through my music. Tell us why you chose this song. “Strong Connection” I love Strong Connection because is shows a vulnerable side of me. I'm singing from a place of desire longing for a love that I've always wanted but don't believe I've had. It's about forming a deep spiritual connection with self and others. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Every moment in my career has been special. However, being named the 2022 Full Figured Industry Awards Entertainer of the Year was truly memorable because it represented a significant milestone of 10 years of hard work and dedication to my craft. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have plenty left on my bucket list. I hope to build a fan base that will allow me to tour the world healing souls and positively impacting lives through my music. I would love to win a Grammy and perform with Stevie Wonder and Lauryn Hill!
