Francesco Le Metre

About Francesco Le Metre

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories go back to when I was 6 years old. I clearly remember attending my first private piano lesson. I had a green music notebook with me and a red and blue marker. I didn't know what to expect back in the days What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Adam Wiltzie, Atomos Jóhann Jóhannsson, Orphée Miles Davis, Kind of Blue I believe these 3 albums even if they are different from one another, they all have one thing in common: a deep and real journey, made possible by the minimalistic and most importantly honest relationship these artists have with music making. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Farewell” this piece is personal to me. It's inspired by a recent loss in my family. I believe that saying less can be more powerful than saying a lot. So I chose to focus on the beauty of simplicity in this composition, allowing a few notes to speak volumes. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'd say witnessing my music reach millions of streams. I alway write music starting from a personal space, and the idea of my music connecting with people globally, and seeing people relating to my music it is very humbling Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Many things left for sure. I'd love to bring my music live around the globe. I think it's very important for me to play my music on stage and connect with a live audience.
