Though he now resides in the Bay Area, Chuck Johnson has had a profound influence on his native North Carolina's music scene. While globally celebrated as a singular talent on the acoustic six-string guitar, he is also a composer of avant minimal classical works and soundtrack music, and a producer and analog recording experimentalist.
