The comedy stylings of Chupke Chupke are front and centre in its soundtrack, thanks to S. D. Burman's songwriting and Anand Bakshi's lyrics. Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi go meta in their upbeat duet "Sa Re Ga Ma"—a song about writing a song. There's also room for traditional Indian flavours, like title track "Chupke Chupke Chal Re Purbaiya", performed by Lata Mangeshkar and featuring a tabla rhythm and sitar interludes, as well as in the memorable romantic ventures of "Ab Ke Sajan Sawan Mein" and "Bagon Mein Kaise Ye Phol Khilte Hai".
