The sonic essence of Minnal Murali—which has earned acclaim as one of Indian cinema’s most thoughtful superhero movies—is brought to life by composers Shaan Rahman and Sushin Shyam. Shyam brings bright disco and synth-pop alongside rapper Marthyan on “Thee Minnal” and ropes in Vipin Raveendran for “Kugramame”. Rahman’s electro-fusion flourishes dominate “Edukka Kaashayi”, sung by Swetha Ashok. There are poignant string-aided tunes like “Uyire”, “Aaromal” and the travelling song “Ravil” as well as hearty, playful pop such as “Niranju Thaarakangal”.
