Jawani Diwani (Original Soundtrack)

Much of Jawani Diwani's success can be credited to R. D. Burman, whose stellar soundtrack includes some of his best-loved work. The upbeat instrumentation kicks off with Kishore Kumar's bubbly rendition of "Samne Ye Kaun Aya", and Asha Bhosle follows up—the only other playback singers in the film—serving as Kumar's female vocal counterpart on "Jaane Jaan Dhoondta Phir Raha". Those romantic refrains are born out of a perfect, undulating harmony between both artist's voices—but Bhosle also stands out in a sweet yet powerful solo vocal performance on "Hai Tauba Mujhe Tune".
