Yigal Bashan Essentials

Armed with a warm voice and an infectious smile, Yigal Bashan launched some of the biggest Israeli hits of the ‘70s. Equally at home with English and Hebrew songs, Bashan became known for upbeat soft rock complete with sunny background singers, bouncing rhythms and an overall positive vibe. His collaboration with the popular Lehakat Brosh added a little musical muscle to his sound, thanks to the energetic guitar work of Shmulik Budagov. In the ‘80s, Bashan reinvented himself as a children's music star on the hit Israeli show Hopa Hey. Decades later, he's still rocking.
