Initially a guitar and violin duo founded by Diana Arbenina and Svetlana Surganova in 1993, the Night Snipers soon developed into a fully fledged rock band. Those two core members were responsible for some of the group's most successful singles and their subsequent rise to fame. Surganova departed in 2002 to front her own project just as Nochnye Snaipery started getting their first taste of international recognition. That didn't stop the outfit from becoming one of the country's most prolific rock exports, with a discography spanning more than two decades of releases.
