Maor Cohen is an Everyman who happens to be wildly talented. He has long been identified as the mesmerising singer of the ‘90s indie rock trio Zikney Tzfat, while his lengthy solo career has provided a deep treasure trove of tunes. Cohen's performances with Zikney Tzfat and follow-up bands Hazvuvim and Habalyanim and his turns as a solo artist ooze style and humour, highlighting the likeable simplicity of his lyrics and power chords. In addition to writing rock hits, he's also an actor and composer who has scored and sung a Hebrew version of Les Fleurs du mal by Charles Baudelaire.
