"Melancholy", the hit single off the 1989 debut from Hachaverim Shel Natasha (Natasha's Friends), painted them as masters of conveying loneliness and heartbreak—so much so that their high-energy, humorous second album came as a big surprise. Shinuim Behergelei Hatzricha (Changes in Consuming) yielded both rocking and contemplative numbers. Radio Blah Blah, their third LP, was even more of a jolt, fusing pop, dance and hard rock. Still, at their core, the band has maintained a sensitive, beating human heart.
